KKC refund decision

All Kenai Kennel Club agility premiums state “No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee.”
After meeting Wednesday evening, KKC made the decision to refund half of each entry.
Those of you who mailed in your entries will receive a check from the club.

The Kenai Kennel Club Board of Directors is meeting Wednesday, Sept. 4, to make a decision on the refund of entries due to the cancellation of its Labor Day weekend agility trial.
An announcement will be sent to all handlers on Thursday.
Thank you for your patience.

Based on the unstable winds and fire activity, including forecast information, the Kenai Kennel Club Agility Committee has made the decision to cancel our agility trial for this weekend.
This decision was determined based on the safety of the handlers and dogs regarding smoke and travel issues.
KKC plans to discuss entry fees and will send a notification by Friday, Aug. 30.
